We scoured the last 4 decades, finding the best movies, games, fashion, language and more. This content was used to create nostalgic experiences and was housed on a special 40th Anniversary App.
The campaign lasted 40 days, each day represented 1 year and connected McDonalds with happy memories in the consumers mind, reminding them that McDonalds has been there with them for the journey.
